13- 3rd Degree Black Belt
14- 4th Degree Black Belt

“In Ed Parker’s Kenpo Karate, there are
officially 10 degrees of black belt, with 10th degree rank being
reserved for the Grandmaster of the system.”

NOTE: A student not ready for their
next colored belt may be "tabbed" at a test until they are ready
to move to the next colored belt.

In Ed Parker's Kenpo, there are 10
degrees of Black Belt.
|
|
Typically between attaining the
rank of Black Belt and 1st Degree Black Belt, usually one year must pass as
well as learning Long Form 6. Beyond that, generally, the next
Black Belt Degree is not considered until as many years have passed as
equivalent to the previous degrees, as well as demonstrate improved skill
and knowledge of Kenpo.
