(vs. front right reverse punch, left leg forward)*
From a left neutral bow, left inward block to opponent's center line, right hooking vertical punch or middle-knuckle strike to the solar plexus, figure-8 motion to a right outward handsword to the right lower ribs, step in with right foot to 12:30 (to a right neutral bow) with a right horizontal elbow to solar plexus, left check on top of opponent's right arm, right scoop kick with right raking eyespear as you move away from opponent, set right foot down in left neutral bow.
Extension:
Left thrusting front kick to groin, set left foot down, step through right front ball kick to jaw, plant into a right neutral. As you pivot into a front twist stance, left step-through knife-edge kick to opponent's right knee ("spinning" his patella), right step-through side thrust to opponent's left (far) knee, keep right arm low, left rear advancing cross-over (behind) with right mantis finger gouge to eye (opponent's head should be below your waistline), cover.
*can also be used against right step-through punch, in such case, work outside and behind opponent substituting a right scoop kick with claw to face from behind. Adjust remaining strikes to outside targets.
