Striking Serpent's Head
(vs. Front, bear hug arms free)
Step back with right to 5:00, left hooking/whipping back knuckle to base of skull (strike comes from behind opponent), left hair grab (or claw to eyes), pull head backwards opening target for right half fist to throat.
Extension:
Transition to a left cat stance with a left "dripping claw" (lighter than a "raining claw") down front of opponent's face, continue motion into a left downward heel-palm strike to sternum (to settle opponent), grab opponent's right wrist with your left hand, step-through with right foot (check opponent's right leg from front) and execute a right horizontal/inward elbow to ribs (emphasis of power and marriage of gravity should be placed on this elbow strike). Continue to hold opponent's left hand, your right leg circles behind opponent's legs and buckle's his knees. Your opponent will begin to fall backward, stall his fall with a right whipping back knuckle to spinal nerve located above kidney. Opponent will still be off balance, continue to hold his left wrist, with your right hand reach behind and under opponent's neck and talon claw/grab his upper trapezius muscle (near neck), kneel with your left as you pull your opponent down and he momentarily rests on the "shelf" that your right leg has become, right hammerfist to solar plexus. Stand into a right cat stance as your left heel-palm thrusting strike shoots your opponent to the ground on his back, right downward roundhouse to head, sweep with right into crossover, cover.
